These terms govern your use of the Gokul Aya Centre website and your booking of any caregiving service with us. By booking a service or using our website, you agree to these terms.

Services Offered

Gokul Aya Centre provides staffing for female and male nurses, elder care attendants, patient care attendants, GDA attendants, baby care attendants, Japa maids, baby sitters, nannies, and domestic help across our North Kolkata service area. Specific service details, including scope of care, are confirmed directly with you at the time of booking.

Booking and Payment

Bookings are confirmed verbally over phone or WhatsApp, no signed contract is required for most arrangements. Payment terms, including rate, frequency, and method, are agreed upon directly with you before the caregiver begins work. Rates vary by service type, shift length, and whether the arrangement is live-in or live-out, as detailed on our Pricing page;

Cancellation and Rescheduling

We understand that care needs can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule a booking, please contact us as far in advance as possible so we can adjust arrangements for both your family and the caregiver.

Our Replacement Guarantee

If a placed caregiver is not the right fit for your family's needs, we will work with you to arrange a replacement at no additional cost. This guarantee is intended to ensure you receive care that genuinely meets your family's needs, not as an open-ended commitment, and is subject to reasonable use and good-faith communication about the concern.

Caregiver Conduct and Client Responsibilities

Caregivers placed by Gokul Aya Centre are expected to conduct themselves professionally, respectfully, and in line with the specific care arrangement agreed upon. In turn, we ask clients to treat caregivers with respect, provide a safe working environment, and communicate any concerns directly to us so we can address them promptly. Any safety concerns, on either side, should be reported to us immediately.

Limitation of Liability

Gokul Aya Centre takes care in selecting, verifying, and training caregivers in our network. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the caregiving services provided, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law.

Confidentiality

Information shared with us about your family's care needs is treated as confidential and used only to arrange and provide the requested service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or from services provided will first be addressed through direct discussion between the parties, and if unresolved, will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Kolkata, West Bengal.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent changes. Continued use of our services after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
